Associate Fixed Income Manager Description

Our client, a well-established investment and wealth management firm, is seeking an Associate Fixed Income Manager to join their fixed income team in Shelton, CT. As part of a small, tight-knit investment team, you’ll have significant autonomy, focusing primarily on fixed income management rather than trading, which a dedicated trading department handles. This means you can devote your time to monitoring investment strategies, analyzing fixed income markets, and optimizing portfolios. You will work closely with research analysts, traders, and other investment professionals to drive performance and ensure portfolios align with client objectives. Associate Fixed Income Manager Responsibilities

•    Oversee and optimize fixed income portfolios 
•    Monitor portfolio risk, performance attribution, and compliance
•    Collaborate with research analysts, traders, and other investment professionals
•    Communicate market insights and portfolio performance to clients and stakeholders

Associate Fixed Income Manager Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business required (MBA or CFA a plus)
•    3+ years of experience in fixed income portfolio management required 
•    Experience in government bonds, corporate bonds, and municipals 
•    Confident communicator with the ability to engage clients required 
•    Must be willing to work onsite Mon-Thurs
