Salary: $102,000-$154,000

Engineering Supervisor – Electrical Distribution (PE required) Description
Our client, a utilities company, is searching for an Engineering Supervisor to join their team in Jackson County, MO. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading their Electrical Distribution Team (6) and ensuring the successful completion of job orders within electrical distribution systems. From reviewing designs and estimations, your supervision will be critical in the seamless coordination of distribution activities across municipal services and community development. Engineering Supervisor – Electrical Distribution (PE required) Responsibilities
• Oversee 6 engineering team members (Estimators, Sr. Engineer, and Engineering Tech)
• Supervise the design and job order development for electrical distribution systems
• Oversee the development and maintenance of distribution practices
• Prepare plans for new electrical connections for residential and commercial properties
• Support the coordination and planning across city departments and municipal services
• Establish goals and strategies for system expansion and improvements
• Prepare annual operation and capital project budgets for the area of responsibility
• Review and approve all engineering plans for utility distribution systems
• Conduct design work on special projects as need
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to effectively drive project completion
Engineering Supervisor – Electrical Distribution (PE required) Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
• Professional Engineer certification (within the US) is required
• Minimum 8 years of electrical distribution engineering experience required
• Strong design experience in power engineering required
