Location: West Minneapolis, MN
Salary: $95,000–$130,000 + Annual Profit-Sharing Eligibility + Benefits

Manufacturing Manager Description
Our client in the manufacturing and consumer products industry is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team in West Minneapolis, MN. Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, and managing 4 Supervisors, you’ll play a key leadership role in a Lean environment. You will focus on coaching leaders to success, holding team members accountable, and driving change. If you have experience working for a mid-sized manufacturing/assembly company (think 400-1,000 employees) and are data-focused and passionate about driving continuous improvement, then you could be a wonderful addition to the team. Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities
• Manage 4 Supervisors and about 100 indirect reports
• Train, coach, and mentor team members
• Ensure Supervisors and team members are accountable for meeting expectations/goals
• Set and manage performance expectations
• Deliver regular evaluations and growth plans
• Ensure production is aligned with customer demand
• Drive a strong safety culture
• Oversee and improve performance metrics
• Use lean manufacturing tools to reduce waste and improve workflow
• Help launch new products into production
• Use data to support production decisions
• Manage budgets
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
Manufacturing Manager Qualifications
• 8+ years of manufacturing and/or assembly production experience required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required
• Lean (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Gemba Walks, etc.) experience required
• ERP experience required
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Plymouth, MN; occasional travel (up to 5%) required
