Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bi-Annual Bonuses (OTE = $100k-$110k) + Employee Stock

Manufacturing Engineer Description
Our client in the custom manufacturing space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Roanoke, VA. This role blends technical consultation and customer collaboration to support both new projects and long-term client partnerships. You’ll serve as the go-to technical expert, translating customer needs into solutions, and guiding projects from quote through delivery. You'll leverage your strong technical knowledge to proactively identify and craft solutions that address complex customer challenges in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have proven engineering experience as well as the ability to support customers, building strong relationships throughout the process. Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities
• Serve as trusted advisor and technical liaison for new and existing clients
• Bridge the gap between customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities
• Coordinate technical projects
• Create and modify Bills of Materials
• Manage technical change cycles including Engineering Change Orders
• Ensure quality-related standards are adhered to
• Understand and follow quality-related standards
• Maintain technical records
• Support quality audits
• Collaborate with production to assess manufacturing feasibility
• Provide technical guidance on materials, tolerances, and design-for-manufacturability
• Conduct technical reviews; ensure ongoing product performance
• Provide guidance on product applications; troubleshoot technical issues
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
• 2+ years technical support, applications or manufacturing engineering experience required
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• ERP/MRP experience required
