Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + Annual Bonus Potential + Annual Raises

Automotive Mechanic Description

Our client in the mechanical services industry is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join their team in Philadelphia, PA, to support the maintenance of their fleet. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles, including vans, trucks, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. You will manage multiple mechanical issues daily and utilize diagnostic tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a stable and well-respected organization, with a future path to advance into a Service Manager role.

Automotive Mechanic Responsibilities

•    Support the maintenance and repair of a diverse commercial fleet
•    Diagnose and repair multiple vehicle issues daily
•    Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
•    Conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance services
•    Use diagnostic software to identify and troubleshoot issues
•    Maintain accurate service records through the company’s software
•    Train and guide junior technicians in best practices
•    Collaborate with fleet and safety teams on tech upgrades and vehicle systems
•    Lead continuous improvement efforts within the shop
•    Ensure compliance with company and safety standards

Automotive Mechanic Qualifications

•    ASE certification or equivalent industry certification/experience is required
•    3+ years of automotive mechanic experience across multiple vehicle types is required
•    A valid driver’s license is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
