Quality Specialist (Manufacturing exp. req.) Description
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Cleveland, is looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team. This position plays an important role in maintaining product standards and supporting quality processes across the plant. The role is based fully on-site and will work closely with production and engineering teams to address issues, improve systems, and ensure compliance with quality requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about operational quality and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment with strong potential for growth.
Quality Specialist (Manufacturing exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Drive overall product and process quality across manufacturing operations
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards
• Lead problem-solving efforts, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Partner with suppliers, production teams, and cross-functional groups to ensure quality objectives are met
• Support new product development and validation from a quality perspective
• Train and coach employees on quality processes and best practices
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits
Quality Specialist (Manufacturing exp. req.) Qualifications
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Hands-on experience with lab/testing equipment and data analysis tools required
• Must be able to work 100% on-site in Cleveland, OH
