Electrical Design Engineer Description
Our client, a well-respected manufacturer in the aerospace and defense sector, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team of ~35 employees. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to design and develop high-precision sensor products while supporting additional product lines such as displacement, strain, shock & vibration, and pressure sensors. This position offers hands-on engineering experience where you can directly contribute to the product lifecycle, from initial concept and circuit design to prototyping and testing. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and customers, gaining visibility and ownership of your designs in a tight-knit environment. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities
• Design and develop electronic systems and components for a variety of products
• Support multiple product lines and assist with cross-functional design needs
• Apply expertise in analog and digital circuit design to develop high-performance solutions
• Work with emerging technologies and system-level design concepts
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to develop innovative designs and solutions
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to define requirements and resolve technical issues
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and test plans
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines successfully
Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field required
• 2+ years of experience in electrical or electronic system design required
• Experience designing analog and/or digital circuits for high-precision applications required
• Exposure to component-level design and prototyping required
