Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Plumbing/Construction) Description
Our client, a growing leader in the construction services industry, is seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Evansville, IN. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly with a strong focus on safety compliance and fleet management – supporting both field and office teams through compliance tracking, vehicle oversight, training coordination, and new-hire onboarding. Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Plumbing/Construction) Responsibilities
• Track and maintain OSHA logs and safety documentation
• Assist in conducting job-site audits and enforcing safety protocols
• Support onboarding including orientation, PPE, and safety certifications
• Help coordinate and track monthly safety training and compliance
• Manage fleet scheduling, inspections, and repair coordination
• Track fuel use, mileage, and license renewals for company vehicles
• Maintain accurate fleet and safety records across systems
• Collaborate with vendors for fleet maintenance and supplies
• Monitor timekeeping and support basic payroll processing
• Participate in field visits and team check-ins to improve compliance
Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Plumbing/Construction) Qualifications
• 2+ years of occupational safety experience required
• Familiarity with construction, plumbing or trade-work environments required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
• Valid driver's license required
