Client Support Coordinator (administrative/operations/customer service) Description
Our client, a privately held financial services company, is looking for a Client Support Coordinator to join their office in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks while also handling direct client communications. Due to our client’s scope of work, the tasks you will be supporting are often highly confidential and more complex in nature. While a financial services support background would be helpful, they have the right resources and onboarding in place to lessen the learning curve. After all, you will be taking over for one of their team member’s who is retiring after being with them for over 30 years. Client Support Coordinator (administrative/operations/customer service) Responsibilities
• Develop working knowledge of client accounts
• Handle direct client communications, including phone and email
• Prepare new account paperwork for advisory accounts, IRAs, mutual funds, etc.
• Arrange paperwork for account transfers ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Compose and type correspondence to clients, businesses and financial institutions
• Process all types of cash flow management including checks, ACHs, transfers, etc.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and financial institutions
• Craft meeting booklets for wealth management review of client portfolios
• Assist with client communications including quarterly client reports
• Help with special projects (client events, holiday cards, client gifts, etc.)
• Schedule meetings and manage portfolio manager’s calendar
• Pursue ongoing professional development
Client Support Coordinator (administrative/operations/customer service) Qualifications
• 3 years of office-based client support experience required
• Experience working inter-departmentally to achieve customer objectives required
• Background in a financial services company or the desire to learn a new industry required
• Ability to work onsite required
