Superintendent – Parking Lot Asphalt Operations Description
Our client in the construction industry is seeking a Superintendent to join their team in the Metro Atlanta region. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with field crews to drive performance, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in commercial parking lot asphalt projects and a deep understanding of grading and its interface with concrete curbs and sidewalks. Superintendent – Parking Lot Asphalt Operations Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all asphalt operations, including paving, milling, and rock work
• Plan, schedule, and oversee projects to ensure timely completion within budget
• Coordinate with sales and project managers to align work plans with customer expectations
• Serve as the primary point of contact with customers on-site, ensuring strong relationships
• Monitor job site safety, quality control, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to field teams
Superintendent – Parking Lot Asphalt Operations Qualifications
• Commercial parking lot paving experience required
• 5+ years of commercial asphalt paving, milling, and grading experience required
• Experience leading multiple crews with an emphasis on training and team development required
• Strong knowledge of grading and its integration with concrete curbs, sidewalks, and related site work required
