Business Development Manager Description
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Dulles, VA. In this outbound-focused role, you will identify and engage prospective clients, set meetings for the sales team, and work alongside reps to close new business. You’ll build prospect lists, conduct outreach, and qualify leads using creative sourcing methods—from online research to local market drives. Business Development Manager Responsibilities
• Build prospect lists through research, online tools, and field scouting
• Conduct outreach calls and follow-ups to drive meeting volume
• Set 5–8 qualified meetings per week for sales team
• Work with Sales Reps to support and attend key meetings
• Qualify leads and identify ideal customer profiles
• Follow up on internal referrals and warm leads
• Collaborate with team to refine targeting strategies
• Maintain CRM records and outreach activity
Business Development Manager Qualifications
• 2+ years of outbound sales or lead generation experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to handle rejection and persist through challenges required
• Experience with CRM platforms (ex: HubSpot) required
