Manager, People Operations Description

Our client is looking for a Manager, People Operations to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will own and develop critical HR Operations functions. You will bring first-hand startup experience around the employee lifecycle, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and general HR Operations and act with a sense of ownership, unafraid of ambiguity. Your manager will rely on you to lean in, operate independently, and make decisions with minimal oversight. Manager, People Operations Responsibilities

•    Manage and develop team of direct reports
•    Lead and own the employee lifecycle, benefits, HRIS, compliance and HR operations initiatives 
•    Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency
•    Improve onboarding and offboarding processes; manage onboarding and orientation logistics
•    Assist employees with benefits enrollment; act as a subject matter expert for employee inquiries
•    Partner with benefits vendors to manage and enhance benefits offerings 
•    Maintain accurate HRIS data; track and analyze data to help drive continuous improvement
•    Expand upon HRIS system use and capabilities within the system to drive process automation 
•    Ensure policies are in place and followed and that there’s appropriate documentation 
•    Track HR compliance deadlines; ensure requirements are met
•    Ensure compliance with I-9s and background checks

Manager, People Operations Qualifications

•    10+ years of HR experience required
•    5+ years of HR Operations experience required
•    3+ years of people management experience required
•    Benefits management experience required
•    HRIS experience required
•    Startup experience required (200 to 5,000 employees)
