HR & Payroll Admin (HRIS & Complex Payroll exp req) Description
Our client, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking an HR & Payroll Admin to oversee Grain Elevator operations at their Clinton, WI facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution for a workforce of over 400 employees across multiple states. Ideal candidates will have a passion for payroll, a meticulous eye for detail, and experience managing complex payroll processes that go beyond standard time-entry systems. To be successful in this role, you must be data-driven, highly organized, and able to work independently without micromanagement. HR & Payroll Amin (HRIS & Complex Payroll exp req) Responsibilities
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for multiple states and divisions
• Review and correct timecard entries and manual adjustments
• Handle child support garnishments and ensure accurate vendor payments
• Administer payroll deductions and ensure accurate benefits cost transfers
• Run audits, review reports, and produce payroll metrics and KPIs
• Support workers’ compensation and unemployment tracking
• Assist with GL reporting and data for special projects
• Respond to employee payroll questions and support benefits inquiries
• Assist with special projects and data integrity efforts as assigned
HR & Payroll Admin (HRIS & Complex Payroll exp req) Qualifications
• 2+ years of payroll experience required
• Experience with complex payroll processes required
• UKG or similar HRIS system experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
