A/R & Credit Manager (Supervisory exp. req.) Description

Our client is looking for an A/R & Credit Manager to add to their team in the Sacramento metropolitan area, CA. You will oversee credit and collections activities and manage the P&L from a receivables standpoint while overseeing the development and performance of credit team. Our client is looking for someone with at least two years of business-to-business credit and collections experience with at least one year of supervisory or management experience who possess strong knowledge of all legal aspects of the collections process. To be successful in this role, you must have great communication, management and employee development skills, be able to handle multiple tasks and projects, and the ability to work with many different levels of management. A/R & Credit Manager (Supervisory exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Oversee development and performance of credit team
• Authorize settlements
• Attend meetings with customers
• Assist with accounts receivable, cash receipts, and daily deposits
• Manage credit and collections, and enforce all aspects of the credit policy
• Oversee the reports and metrics of the team
• Handle all reporting, filing, and collections paperwork
• Prepare the budget for area of responsibility
• Manage Days Sales Outstanding reduction in terms of collections related to sales
• Schedule and run aging reviews
• Work with Manager to increase and secure all sales

A/R & Credit Manager (Supervisory exp. req.) Qualifications

• 2+ years of business-to-business credit and collections process experience required
• 1+ years of supervisory or management experience required
• Knowledge of legal compliance and lien laws relating to collection of debts required
• Computer proficiency and advanced Excel skills required
