Accounting Manager ($100K - $125K - Relocation Assistance Available) Description

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager to add to their team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring that internal controls are in place and followed for the business unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with manufacturing or project/job cost accounting and has managed a team of accountants. Accounting Manager ($100K - $125K - Relocation Assistance Available) Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis, including budgeting and projections, and review with management
• Ensure that detailed job cost tracking is in place and that jobs are closed/invoiced timely
• Perform year-end closing functions (401(k) plan, financial statements, 1099’s, and W-2’s)
• Prepare monthly/quarterly sales and payroll tax returns
• Classify and account for fixed assets
• Participate in workers comp, property/casualty, and medical insurance maintenance/renewal
• Drive the development of financial control measures for the business unit
• Provide input for setting objectives and goals for the business
• Engage with the team for the integration of acquisitions

Accounting Manager ($100K - $125K - Relocation Assistance Available) Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience required
• 3+ years of financial and cost accounting experience required
• Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookups, formulas) required
• Ability and willingness to travel periodically to other business locations
