HR Compensation Specialist Description

Our client is looking for a Compensation Specialist to add to their team in either the Lake Mary or Ocala, FL office. Reporting to the Director, you will oversee the company compensation and incentive programs in salary structure creation and maintenance, in addition to evaluating job responsibilities to help determine classification (exempt vs. non-exempt) and salary. If you have a keen eye for details and can manipulate and consolidate large data sets, you could be a great addition to the team. HR Compensation Specialist Responsibilities

• Lead annual, bi-annual, and quarterly structured incentives programs
• Oversee incentive calculations and payouts
• Analyze compensation data within the organization
• Document job analysis
• Manage job description creation process, procedures, and approvals
• Manage salary structure creation and maintenance
• Conduct market analysis of pay grades and ranges
• Participate in compensation surveys
• Lead the Annual Compensation Review Process
• Assist with testing compensation software and websites prior to rolling out the live process
• Support the development of guardrails for the annual compensation review process
• Analyze overall spend from previous year
• Document key themes and pertinent points for consideration

HR Compensation Specialist Qualifications

• 3+ years of compensation analysis experience required
• Federal, State, and Local laws/regulations knowledge required
• Advanced Excel (pivot table, data comparisons, formulas, etc.) experience required
