(Chinese Fluency Required) Mechanical Engineering Manager Description

Our client in the food and beverage manufacturing industry is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to add to their team in Stafford, TX. Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and project managing, as well as overseeing the full circle of machinery applications across locations. To be considered for this role, you must have at least 5 years of project management experience in packaging technology line, automation, food manufacturing, or process design applications. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent knowledge of engineering software, and have experience coordinating the maintenance programs required to maintain machines or equipment. (Chinese Fluency Required) Mechanical Engineering Manager Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and install mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes
• Supervise team of engineers, mechanics, and technicians
• Mentor and develop team members
• Manage machine investment and plant relocation projects
• Evaluate mechanical process and prototype of machineries
• Create detailed design plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff
• Implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information
• Conduct research that tests the design and operation of equipment, components, or systems
• Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods
• Lead initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
• Oversee installation of equipment
• Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects
• Prepare contract documents
• Coordinate maintenance or safety procedures, service schedule, or materials for machines

(Chinese Fluency Required) Mechanical Engineering Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 5+ years Mechanical Engineering experience required
• 5+ years project management experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS required
• Willingness/ability to travel up to 40-50% domestically required
